What are your hours of operation?
Springhill Cemetery is open to visitors year-round from dawn until dusk. Our office hours may vary seasonally—please contact us to schedule a meeting with our staff. We currently limit access in the winter months
Can I visit a loved one’s resting place outside of office hours?
Yes. The cemetery grounds are open during daylight hours for all visitors. We encourage quiet reflection and respectful conduct at all times.
What time do services need to be completed by?
On Saturdays, all interments must be completed by 1:00 p.m. An after-hours surcharge applies to any service that runs past 12:30 p.m. There are no Sunday or statutory holiday interments unless special arrangements are made.
Do you allow interments year-round?
We currently do not provide any burial services in the winter months.
Is pre-planning available for burial or niche spaces?
Yes. Many families choose to secure interment rights in advance for peace of mind. Please contact us to learn more about availability and the steps involved in securing a plot or niche.
Can multiple family members be buried in one plot?
Yes. A full-size burial plot can accommodate one casket and up to two urns. If no casket is present four urns together in rest. Contact us to review your plot’s configuration.
Can I place flowers or decorations at a grave or niche?
Yes, fresh-cut flowers may be placed on graves or in designated areas near niches.
Who do I contact for interment arrangements or records?
Please contact our Director of Operations. We’re happy to help coordinate a burial, provide records, or guide you through next steps.
What is the process for transferring burial rights to a family member?
Interment rights may be transferred with an administration fee of $50. The original rights holder (or legal representative) must complete a transfer form. Rights must be paid in full prior to any interment.
